Edra V. Dickson went home to be with her heavenly Father on September 25, 2016. She was born October 30, 1916 in San Diego, California. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Bennett of Kokomo, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Verl Lynn (Dick) Dickson, daughter, Donna M. Dickson-Huntrods, and son, Dennis Robert Dickson. She lived with her daughter Judy in California for many years, and moved with her to Indiana 11 years ago. She absolutely loved living in Indiana, especially having four seasons for the first time in her life. At her request there will be no service, and she is to be cremated, which is being handled by Indiana Funeral Care.

Carolyn Burleson says
To Edra’s family: Many, of my most precious, and fun, memories involved Edra, Dick and family. I can still hear her and my mom laughing like young girls. Her love for the Lord was reflected in all she did. I loved her as an “auntie”. Even though we were genetically connected, we were blood related because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Love and prayers embrace all of you. Hugs, Judy.
